Yum-yum-fun for Grown-Ups!
The FRIDAY NIGHT COMEDY CAFE is a regular exhibition of audience interactive comedy theatre every
second and fourth Friday. The Meathands do a mix of long form improv and scene games to deliver a full
hour of delightful absurdity based on audience suggestions. Come hungry and ready to relax ‘cause the
couches are comfy and the food is excellent. Come on by and spend a Friday evening with us!

Reaching out to the whole community
Our mission as a company is to provide the gift of laughter to the many communities of
Greater Los Angeles and Southern California. Unfortunately not everyone in our
communities can just up and see a show at any time. In collaboration with such valued
partners as Hope for Homeless Youth, Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family
Services, and Union Rescue Mission on Skid Row, The Magic Meathands make a
point of paying regular visits to facilities that are serving the poor, the homeless, and at
risk kids who’ve been separated from their families.
If you work for an organization that serves our youth, the elderly, or homeless communities
or are otherwise committed to healing our communities, please feel free to contact our
director, Bill Johnson, at Bill@magicmeathands.com to discuss a potential program with
our ensemble.

Two sets of heads are funnier than one!
For the dedicated improviser it’s all about working together, and whenever we get a chance we like to
take that to another level. By working with other improv groups in communities outside LA’s Westside
such as Victorville’s High Desert Rats, Beach Cities based Jumpstart and Improv Shmimprov of
Fullerton we get the opportunity to travel and empower the presentation of improv comedy all over the
map.
If you are part of an improv troupe in Southern California and are interested in a night of tag team
comedy either for your local community or to benefit a local charitable organization, contact the

Cities' tag team partner Jumpstart Improv put on a full night of improv
comedy appropriate for the whole family. While staying sharp we offer a
night for grownups where they can feel comfortable bringing the
youngsters along.
